Same pattern as last time…

It is a great print, but a bear to work with. The bolt I bought it from wasn’t printed exactly straight on the grain, which meant I had to cut out everything one piece at a time. I cut out one front and one back piece, then laid the cut fabric down on the fabric to match the pattern, then cut around that instead of the tissue.
I bought lots of it too, but fortunately the rest is destined to become an apron, so no matching necessary.
Despite the off-grain print, I managed to perfectly match the pattern at the back seam. I have mad skillz, yo!

I think you are a master with the sewing machine, darlin’. I love this! Too bad I’m now too fat for skorts!
The fit is fantastic! The communion dress below is wonderful as well. You DO have mad skillz!
I´m SURE you´ve done some new stuff in the meanwhile…
… just mentioning …
Yes, I have. I need to post pics of my Vernal Equinox Shawl, and Risa’s birthday dress.
Oh yes, you do!
